The USTA Hawaii Pacific is showcasing world-class professional men’s and women’s tennis at the Tennis Championships of Maui (formerly the Royal Lahaina Challenger) hosted by the Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch and Royal Lahaina Resort | 2017 dates TBA

The Tennis Championships of Maui will host:

  • • 32 Qualifying Men’s & Women’s Singles Draw
  • • 32 Main Men’s & Women’s Singles Draw
  • • 16 Men’s & Women’s Doubles Draw

$50,000 total prize money and showcasing some of the finest Men’s and Women’s tennis players in the world (ranked No. 50 and above)!

The Challenger will also host community events such as:

• Youth Tennis Fest
• Pro Am (Invitational)
• Boys & Girls Club visit
• USTA Adult League Appreciation Night
• School Day On-Court Invitational
• Family Appreciation Night
• USTA Member Appreciation Booth

Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch

For nearly 50 years, the Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch has been providing visitors and the local community with a variety of tennis programs and events on their 3,500-seat stadium court and 10 surrounding courts (5 of them lighted for night play). Located in a beautiful setting on the Island of Maui, the Kaanapali site has played host to numerous Pro Tennis Classics, Junior and Adult USTA Sectional League championships and tournaments, as well as Royal Lahaina’s USTA sanctioned Spring Doubles and Fall Classic Championships. For everyone from novice to elite players, Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch offers court time, daily match setting, instructional clinic options, workouts, private and group lessons, hitting sessions, and an exceptional juniors program. In 2010, The United States Tennis Association’s (USTA) Hawaii-Pacific Section named the Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch the “Facility of the Year”. Royal Lahaina Tennis Ranch was cited for their leadership and professional staff that “provides superior customer service” and “shares the USTA mission to promote and develop the growth of tennis” throughout the area.
